Dream Big! is proud to be a part of the Boston Athletic Association's 131st Boston Marathon® presented by Bank of America Official Charity Program. As one of many charity partners, Dream Big! will have a team of 15 runners in the 131st Boston Marathon on April 19, 2027.
The Dream Big! Boston Marathon Team raises critical funds to support Dream Big!’s mission of breaking down the economic barriers that prevent girls and young women from economically disadvanataged communities from participating in sports and physical activities. Funds raised help provide the equipment, uniforms, athletic footwear, sports attire, training opportunities, and program fees they need to get in the game and experience the many benefits of sports—benefits that contribute to their health, education, confidence, and overall well-being.
Over the past 16 years, Dream Big! programs have had a direct impact on more than 100,000 girls and young women in need through equipment, athletic footwear, sports attire and uniform donations; program and camp scholarships; sports clinics and training fees; college showcase opportunities; and the Dream Big! Leadership Conferences for middle and high school female student-athletes from urban communities.
